Takedown Safety Cap

Excellent piece. I was always worried about the gas tube bending when my pistol was disassembled and bagged. A few days ago, I stopped by this site to look for something for a friend and I saw this cap. I ordered it and it was delivered quickly. When I put it over the barrel extension it was snug, it will not fall off. But the groove for the gas tube was wide enough to give it wiggle room and make sure the gas tube was not damaged. Orange color ensures you see it and don't try to connect the barrel with it on. Price is reasonable. Nothing for me to complain about. I highly recommend this product.
